iety – Service Terms and Conditions

These Service Terms (“Terms”) set out the basis on which iety (“we”, “us”, “our”) provides a managed online merchandise store (“the Store”) for your club, society, organisation, or team (“the Client”). By submitting this form, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms.

1. Service Overview

1.1. iety will design, host, and manage an online merchandise store tailored to the Client’s branding, colours, and product selections.

1.2. iety is responsible for processing orders placed through the store, managing fulfillment, and arranging delivery to customers.

1.3. The Client is responsible for providing accurate branding materials, product preferences, and any required information to complete the store setup.

2. Fees and Financial Terms

2.1. The Client is not required to pay any upfront fees, setup charges, or ongoing maintenance fees.

2.2. All merchandise is sold directly by iety.

2.3. iety retains the profit from sales as part of the managed service provided.

2.4. Prices for merchandise are set by iety unless otherwise agreed in writing.

3. Intellectual Property & Branding

3.1. The Client grants iety permission to use its name, logo, colours, and branding assets solely for the purpose of creating, operating, and promoting the Store.

3.2. The Client confirms that it has the authority to grant this permission and that the branding materials provided do not infringe the rights of any third party.

3.3. All designs, product mock-ups, and store layouts created by iety remain the intellectual property of iety.

4. Orders, Fulfilment, and Customer Service

4.1. iety is responsible for processing all orders placed through the Store.

4.2. iety will handle fulfilment, dispatch, and delivery using its chosen fulfilment partners.

4.3. iety will manage customer service enquiries relating to orders, delivery issues, or product defects.

4.4. Returns and refunds will be handled in accordance with UK consumer law and iety’s returns policy.

5. Client Responsibilities

5.1. The Client is responsible for ensuring that the information it provides is accurate and up to date.

5.2. The Client agrees to promote the Store to its members through appropriate channels.

5.3. The Client must not misuse the Store or represent itself as a reseller or agent of iety.

6. Termination

6.1. Either party may request that the Store be closed at any time by giving written notice.

6.2. iety reserves the right to suspend or remove a Store in cases of misuse, breach of these Terms, or legal/operational concerns.

6.3. Any orders placed prior to termination will still be fulfilled by iety.

7. Liability

7.1. iety is not liable for delays or disruptions caused by third-party suppliers, delivery networks, or circumstances beyond its control.

7.2. iety is not liable for losses arising from the Client's failure to provide accurate branding or information.

7.3. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited under UK law.

8. Data Protection

8.1. iety will process personal data in accordance with applicable UK data protection legislation.

8.2. iety acts as a data controller for customer data collected through the Store.

8.3. The Client must not collect or attempt to access customer data processed by iety unless expressly authorised.

9. Governing Law

9.1. These Terms are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

9.2. Any disputes arising under these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
